Light is the strongest cue your body clock has. Get the evening light wrong and your circadian rhythm drifts, which is why sleep stacks so often underperform. Bulbs are still sold on "60W equivalent", which describes a bulb that no longer exists. The number that matters is lumens, and the amount you need is a function of the room's job.

Lumens per square foot, by room
